With many farms that provided our farm to table restaurants now relying on farm stands, Community Supported Agricultures, and delivery services, Resilient Local is offering FREE services to promote local farms that are either implementing organic or pasture raised practices that sign up during the coronavirus pandemic.
 
Resilient Local Farms improve the soil’s productivity, water retention, and carbon sequestration by either rotating their nutritious and diverse crops or by pasture raising their hormone-free and antibiotic-free meats.* By contrast, our fragile modern food chain’s processed grocery store items originate in either faraway industrial monocultures or feed lots whose degraded soils erode, create aquatic dead zones, and are not carbon sinks.

Emery Farm is the oldest family farm in the country, having been in the same family since 1660.
